About me: Guyanese/Caribbean born artist trained at St Martin's School of Art in London, rejected the then prevalent heavy metal school and searched for an alternative material. I found clay to possess the very qualities of plasticity I wanted.

About my work: Benefiting from a sculptor's training in three dimensional construction, many of the larger pieces are assembled from a series of units. Translucent washes of vibrant colour are applied in layers on bowls and dishes to create lush, shimmering compositions.
