David Waller

David explores a variety of mediums and techniques in order to produce his visual works.

Utilizing found or collected materials to create unique constructions, carving wood and stone into harmonious and sensuous shapes and using clay to make spontaneous forms, hand built vases and inspired pieces about the human figure. A selection of 3-D works are available as either unique pieces or editions in bronze, pewter, resin-bronze, or plaster.

In addition to the 3-D work he employs his skills in the making of drawings, paintings and mixed media designs. Here figurative subjects are accompanied by abstract and imaginary compositions. More recently he has developed a collage style recycling his own unused photographs.

David works at his studio in Muswell Hill. He teaches sculpture, painting and drawing at The Institute in East Finchley.
