I trained as a Primary School teacher at a training college in Hertfordshire that was part of Cambridge Institute of Education during the 1960's. My major subject was Arts and Crafts. After many years working and raising a family, I finally began to develop my art practice. This began with course run by The CityLit, and Morley College . During a two year course in Fine Art at the CityLit, I developed a strong interest in printing and making artists books which I am currently engaged in. I divide my time between these two interests and painting. My interests are ancient stones and modern structures, landscape and myth. I enjoy the interaction between them and how their durability infuses contemporary life in many areas. |
