Ximena Heasman

was born in Colombia where she got her degree in Industrial Design. After 3 years of working within her own pottery and jewellery studio (Espiral Cero) in Colombia she came to London in 2004 and worked for the South African jewellery designer Kirsten Goss.

Ximena returned to ceramics in 2006 developing her own style, which has strong influences from her cultural roots. She makes tableware, vases, lamps and fashion accessories such as buttons and jewellery.

Her theme is mankind and the joy and beauty of the relationships between people and with nature; creating objects that seek to make subtle heart-felt connections.
