Glenn Cleaver
Although a Consulting Engineer by profession, Glenn was inspired by childhood friends working in the fields of fine art, sculpture and glass blowing, to embark on releasing his creativity through clay. Some seven years ago Glenn decided to explore a creative diversion in ceramics.
As well as attending courses at Brunel University and other London Colleges, he has over the years been developing a number of styles concentrating more recently on the clean, more simplistic requirements of today's modern living. His ceramic work is all hand built and incorporates mixed media such as copper wire and natural slate. Glenn is mainly inspired by texture and produces both unusual tactile utilitarian pieces and ceramic wall art.
The ceramic wall art is open-framed or mounted on canvas to enable each piece to be touched.
