Daphne Carnegy

Thrown and handbuilt domestic ware - vases, platters, jugs, etc - painted in maiolica technique, sometimes colourful, sometimes monochrome in black and white or blue and white.

Decorative themes and patterns are often related to my passion for gardening. I also make handbuilt stoneware ‘raincatchers’ and bird baths for the garden, based on organic forms.

I trained in France and at Harrow School of Art. I am a Fellow of the Craft Potters' Association and am also on the Crafts Council Selected Index.

I sell and exhibit through shops and galleries.
