Mari l'Anson After a successful career in illustration, I turned to painting full time after a wonderfully stimulating painting holiday in Tuscany. The rich olives, terracottas and ochres of the land rekindled my love of landscape.Since then I travelled in Spain, Turkey, Singapore, Italy and Russia, always keeping a sketchbook and producing oils and watercolours in the studio. I worked in Bangkok for four succesive winters as artist-in-residence in an international school where I exhibited and sold all my watercolours. I also spent two winters in India travelling and painting. I've added House Portraits to my list and teach on a one-to-one basis. My work has appeared in may local venues and I'm listed in Who's Who in Art. |
