My Work
I’ve always drawn and painted but for the last few years I’ve been working on textiles too.
Some of the work you see here is linked to my work in theatre and screen as an actor.
I wanted to create something permanent from the many self-tapes produced by friends and colleagues when scouting for work.
This ongoing project is called Self-tape Series and is made from screenshots of people’s many takes of themselves auditioning from home.
At the moment I’m working on a large quilt inspired by a textile piece at The American Museum, which will be called Scenes From Living, 2023.
